Emily began acting at Lake Orion High School. She moved to New York City in 2007 to attend The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, School for Film and Television. In 2009 she joined Girl Be Heard (formally Project Girl Performance Collective) and has been an advocate for young women around the world to raise awareness on a variety of issues using theater as a tool for social change. Emily enjoys stage performing but has a special passion for tv/film performance and has experience writing monologues, scenes, and spoken word poetry. She has also been involved behind the scenes as a production assistant for film, producer of musical showcases, assistant director for theater, and the director of a national tour. In the Fall of 2012 Emily was invited to become a member of FullStop Collective and is looking forward to what her future holds in the collective!
